Rosacea

Rosacea is a common skin condition that causes blushing or flushing. Rosacea can be mistaken for acne, other skin problems, or natural ruddiness.

Causes

  • Lot of drinks and spicy foods
  • Red wine and other alcoholic beverages
  • Temperature extremes
  • Sun or wind
  • Drugs that dilate blood vessels, including some blood pressure medications
  • Some cosmetic, skin or hair care products

Indications

  • Facial Blushing
  • Visible Veins
  • Spider Veins
  • Swollen Bumps
  • Burning Sensation
  • The skin of the affected area may feel hot and tender
