Eczema

Eczema is the name for a group of skin conditions that cause dry, irritated skin. Other types of eczema include:
Discoid eczema: a type of eczema that occurs in circular or oval patches on the skin.

Causes

  • Dry weather (low humidity)
  • Fabrics or clothing material
  • Makeup or skin care products
  • Smoke and pollutants
  • Soaps and detergents

Indications

  • Dry, scaly skin
  • Skin Flushing
  • Itching
  • Open, crusted, or weeping sores
  • In the chronic phase it gets inflamed, weepy and painful
